Ripping Corpse was a death metal band formed in 1987 in Red Bank, New Jersey, USA. The lineup included vocalist Scott Ruth, guitarists Shaune Kelley and Erik Rutan, bassist Dave Bizzigotti, and drummer Brandon Thomas. In 1991, they released their sole studio album, "Dreaming with the Dead". After the band's dissolution, Erik Rutan joined Morbid Angel and later founded Hate Eternal, while the other members formed Dim Mak.
