Rites of Spring was an American punk band from Washington, D.C., active from 1983 to 1986. The band was known for their energetic performances and introspective lyrics that pushed hardcore punk into more personal realms. They released one studio album, "Rites of Spring," in 1985 and an EP, "All Through a Life," in 1987.
