Rob van de Wouw is a Dutch jazz trumpeter and composer known for blending jazz with funk, soul, and hip-hop elements. After studying at the Rotterdam Conservatory, he collaborated with various groups, including Nueva Manteca and the Cubop City Big Band. In 2007, he released his debut album "Reboot Your Soul," followed by "Tunnelvision" (2009) and "Neon" (2013). The album "Tunnelvision" won the Edison Jazz Publieksprijs in 2010. Van de Wouw is also a co-founder of the New Rotterdam Jazz Orchestra, recognized for its modern approach to jazz and collaborations with renowned musicians.
