Rocky Gresset is a French jazz guitarist born in 1980. He comes from a musical family and began playing guitar at the age of nine. As a teenager, he studied the music of Django Reinhardt and the culture of the Manouches. Later, he was influenced by guitarists such as Wes Montgomery, George Benson, and Pat Metheny. Christian Escoudé became his mentor. In 2009, he released his self-titled debut album "Rocky Gresset" on the Dreyfus Records label, featuring interpretations of jazz standards. In 2012, he followed up with the duo album "Entre Actes" with Adrien Moignard. Gresset has collaborated with artists like Lionel Belmondo, Stéphane Belmondo, and Jean-Marc Jafet.
