Roller Trio is a British jazz-rock trio formed in 2011 in Leeds. The group consists of James Mainwaring (saxophone and electronics), Chris Sharkey (guitar/bass and electronics), and Luke Reddin-Williams (drums). Their 2012 debut album, "Roller Trio," was nominated for the Mercury Prize, and the band received a MOBO Award nomination for "Best Jazz Act" the same year. Their music is known for blending jazz, rock, and electronic elements, utilizing technology to expand their sound. Subsequent albums include "Fracture" (2014) and "New Devices" (2018).
