The Royal Scottish National Orchestra (RSNO) is a leading symphony orchestra based in Glasgow, Scotland. Founded in 1891, the RSNO has become one of Scotland's five national performing arts companies. The orchestra is renowned for its recordings, including the complete symphonies of Prokofiev under Neeme Järvi and orchestral works of Debussy under Stéphane Denève. The RSNO has received two Diapason d'Or de l'année awards for symphonic music and eight GRAMMY Award nominations. The orchestra regularly performs in major concert halls across Scotland, and its current music director is Thomas Søndergård since 2018.
