Rudolf Koelman is a Dutch violinist who studied with Jan Bor and Herman Krebbers in Amsterdam, and later with Jascha Heifetz at the University of Southern California. From 1996 to 1999, he served as the first concertmaster of the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra in Amsterdam. Since 1987, he has been a professor of violin and chamber music at the Zürcher Hochschule der Künste in Switzerland. Koelman regularly performs as a soloist with renowned orchestras worldwide and won the Edison Award in 2010 for his recording of Paganini's Violin Concertos Nos. 1 and 2. He plays the "Ex Woolhouse" Stradivari violin from 1720. The products available from the artist Rudolf Koelman include CDs.
