Rudy Greene was an American rhythm and blues and rock 'n' roll guitarist and singer, born on September 30, 1926, in Lake Charles, Louisiana. Between 1946 and 1961, he recorded for several labels, including Bullett Records, Chance Records, Club 51 Records, Excello Records, and Ember Records. His most notable track, "Juicy Fruit," was released in 1957 under Ember Records. Influenced by T-Bone Walker's style, Greene's music has appeared on various rhythm and blues and rock 'n' roll compilations. He passed away on November 1, 1976, in Hillsborough County, Florida.
