Rusan Filiztek is a Kurdish musician and singer born in Diyarbakır, Turkey. He studied saz playing with his father and later attended Sakarya and Marmara universities. During his travels in the Middle East, he explored Kurdish, Turkish, Greek, and Armenian music. In 2015, he moved to Paris to study musicology at the Sorbonne and collaborated with musicians like Jordi Savall. He has released albums "Zêr-Av" (2019), "Sans Souci" (2021), and "Exils" (2024), blending traditional melodies with modern elements. His music combines world music, folk rock, and jazz.
