Čendeš, formerly known as Rusín Čendeš Orchestra, is a Slovak musical group founded in 2011. It consists of six members: Peter Šipula (violin, vocals), Andrej Turčin (violin), Zuzana Stračinová (cimbalom, vocals), René Bošeľa (viola, guitar, vocals), Jakub Stračina (double bass), and Róbert Bošeľa (drums, percussion). The group interprets Rusyn folklore in an unconventional manner, blending elements of folk, classical, and popular music, Balkan rhythms, and jazz. They have released two studio albums: "Best of" (2015) and "Cossack Attack" (2019), with the latter reaching the top five in the World Music Charts Europe.
