David Ryan Adams is an American rock and country singer-songwriter. He began his career as a member of the band Whiskeytown, releasing three albums with them. After leaving the band in 2000, he released his debut solo album "Heartbreaker". This was followed by "Gold" (2001), "Demolition" (2002), and "Rock N Roll" (2003). Adams has collaborated with artists such as Willie Nelson, Jesse Malin, and Jenny Lewis. He has been nominated for seven Grammy Awards, including "Best Rock Album" and "Best Rock Song" in 2015.
