S.P.Y., born Carlos Barbosa de Lima Jr., is a Brazilian drum'n'bass DJ and producer from São Paulo. He moved to London in 2003 and debuted on the Metalheadz label in 2005. He subsequently collaborated with artists like Marcus Intalex and Total Science. In 2012, he signed with Hospital Records and released the album "What the Future Holds," which won the "Best Album" award at the Drum & Bass Arena Awards. His other notable albums include "Back to Basics" (2014) and "Dubplate Style" (2019). S.P.Y. is also known for his remixes for artists such as Deadmau5 and Chase & Status.
