S.T.S. was a three-member Austrian band from Graz, consisting of Gert Steinbäcker, Günter Timischl, and Schiffkowitz (Helmut Röhrling). Active from 1978 to 2012, they are known for songs like "Großvater," "Irgendwann bleib i dann dort," and "Fürstenfeld." Their music blended pop rock, folk rock, and country rock. S.T.S. sold approximately 2.5 million albums and received multiple gold and platinum awards. The band ceased activities in 2012, with members reuniting on stage in 2021 during Opus's farewell tour.
