Sambalanço Trio was a Brazilian samba-jazz group formed in 1964 in São Paulo. The trio consisted of César Camargo Mariano (piano), Humberto Clayber (bass), and Airto Moreira (drums). Active for approximately two years, they released several notable albums, including "Sambalanço Trio" (1964), "Improviso Negro" (1965), and "Reencontro com Sambalanço Trio" (1965). Their music blended elements of samba, bossa nova, and jazz, influencing many other groups in the genre. After the group's dissolution, its members continued with successful musical careers.
