Sami Yaffa is a Finnish bass guitarist known for his work with bands such as Hanoi Rocks, New York Dolls, and Joan Jett & The Blackhearts. Born on September 4, 1963, in Espoo, Finland, he began his career in 1980 with the band Pelle Miljoona Oy, later joining Hanoi Rocks, with whom he recorded five albums. After their breakup in 1985, he collaborated with various artists, including Jetboy and Smack. In 2004, he became a member of New York Dolls, and in 2009, he joined the Michael Monroe Band. In 2021, he released his first solo album, "The Innermost Journey to Your Outermost Mind." Yaffa is recognized for his versatility and contributions to rock music.
