Sammy Hagar is an American singer, songwriter, and guitarist, known as the "Red Rocker". He began his career in the 1970s with the hard rock band Montrose. After leaving the band in 1975, he released his debut solo album, "Nine on a Ten Scale," in 1976. In the 1980s, he joined Van Halen as the lead vocalist, contributing to albums such as "5150" and "OU812". After departing from Van Halen, he continued his solo career and collaborated on projects like Chickenfoot. Hagar was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2007 as a member of Van Halen.
