Santa Chiara is the solo project of Italian musician Chiara D'Anzieri, who moved to the United States in January 2020. Born in Turin, she began her career as a classical cellist at the age of 10. After years of touring with various orchestras across Europe, she decided to explore other instruments, songwriting, and production, starting to work in recording studios near her hometown in Italy. Her debut album, "IMPORTED," was released in November 2023 under the legendary indie label Kill Rock Stars. The album narrates her experiences of immigration, leaving her home country, adapting to a new environment, and discovering a new life in Nashville.
