Saracen is a British rock band formed in 1976. Their debut album, "Heroes, Saints & Fools," was released in 1981. In 2006, they released the concept album "Vox in Excelso," which explores the history of the Knights Templar. The band is known for its symphonic hard rock style and is considered part of the New Wave of British Heavy Metal.
