Sarah and the Safe Word is an American rock band from Atlanta, Georgia, formed in 2015 by lead singer Sarah Rose and guitarist Kienan Dietrich. The band is known for their theatrical 1920s cabaret-inspired style and eclectic blend of genres such as alternative rock, pop-punk, and gothic rock. Their debut album, "Strange Doings in the Night" (2017), led to performances at Warped Tour and subsequent tours with bands like Motionless in White and The Birthday Massacre. After signing with independent label Take This To Heart Records, they released the albums "Red Hot & Holy" (2019), "Good Gracious! Bad People." (2020), and "The Book of Broken Glass" (2023).
