Sarah Traubel is a German soprano who has performed leading roles at major opera houses and festivals. She focuses on Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart's operas but has also appeared in contemporary works, such as the role of Inanna in Jörg Widmann's "Babylon" during the opening of the 2022 Internationale Maifestspiele Wiesbaden. In March 2023, she released the album "De Profundis" in collaboration with countertenor Andreas Scholl, exploring musical settings of Psalm 130 from the Baroque to the post-Romantic period. In May 2025, her next album, "Shostakovich: Symphony No. 14," is scheduled for release with the Orchestre Royal de Chambre de Wallonie under the direction of Vahan Mardirossian.
