Scissorgun is an electronic trio from Manchester, formed in 2016. The group consists of Dave Clarkson (synths, rhythms, tapes, percussion), Alan Hempsall (vocals, treated guitar, samples, loops), and Adrian Ball (light show and projections). Their music blends urban electronica with fuzz/wah guitar, mixing songs with abstract soundscapes. To date, they have released three albums: "Assault Two" (2017), "All You Love Is Need" (2020), and "Psychological Colouring Book" (2021). Their fourth album, "Scream If You Wanna Go Faster," is scheduled for release in October 2025 under the Dimple Discs label. The band has performed alongside artists such as Wrangler, Wolfgang Flür, and Eric Random.
