Scott Matthew is an Australian singer-songwriter known for his melancholic voice and emotive ballads. In 2001, he co-founded the alternative pop band Elva Snow with Spencer Cobrin, a former member of Morrissey's backing band. After the group's dissolution, he moved to New York City, where he released his self-titled debut solo album in 2008. His music has been featured in soundtracks, including the anime series "Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex" and the film "Shortbus".
