Scott Tixier is a French jazz violinist and six-time Grammy Award winner. He has collaborated with artists such as Stevie Wonder, Elton John, and Kenny Barron. Tixier studied classical violin at the Conservatoire de Paris before moving to New York, where he performed at venues like Carnegie Hall and Madison Square Garden. His notable albums include "Brooklyn Bazaar" (2012), "Cosmic Adventure" (2016), and "Bonfire" (2025). Tixier is also recognized for his work on film soundtracks, including "The Lion King" and "John Wick". In 2023, he became a U.S. citizen and currently serves as a professor of jazz violin at the University of North Texas.
