Semisonic is an American rock band formed in Minneapolis in 1995, consisting of Dan Wilson (lead vocals, guitar, keyboards), John Munson (bass, keyboards, backing vocals, guitar), and Jacob Slichter (drums, percussion, keyboards, backing vocals). The band is best known for their 1998 hit "Closing Time." Their second album, "Feeling Strangely Fine," achieved platinum status in the United States. After releasing their third album, "All About Chemistry," in 2001, the band went on hiatus. They released the EP "You're Not Alone" in 2020 and the album "Little Bit of Sun" in 2023.
