Seu Jorge e Almaz is a musical project formed in 2008 during the recording of the soundtrack for the film "Linha de Passe". The group consists of Brazilian singer and actor Seu Jorge, multi-instrumentalist Antonio Pinto, and members of the band Nação Zumbi, guitarist Lúcio Maia and drummer Pupillo. Their debut album, "Seu Jorge e Almaz", was released in 2010 and features reinterpretations of songs by artists such as Jorge Ben, Tim Maia, Michael Jackson, and Kraftwerk. The album blends elements of funk, soul, and rock, creating a unique sound. The project was well-received by critics for its innovative fusion of genres and contribution to the Brazilian music scene.
