The Sex Pistols are an English punk band formed in London in 1975. The original lineup consisted of vocalist Johnny Rotten (John Lydon), guitarist Steve Jones, bassist Glen Matlock, and drummer Paul Cook. In 1977, Matlock was replaced by Sid Vicious. Their sole studio album, "Never Mind the Bollocks, Here's the Sex Pistols" (1977), includes tracks like "Anarchy in the U.K." and "God Save the Queen." The band disbanded in 1978 but reunited several times thereafter. In 2024, Jones, Cook, and Matlock joined with new vocalist Frank Carter for a series of concerts, with additional performances scheduled for 2025.
