Shadow Gallery is an American progressive metal band formed in the 1980s in Lehigh Valley, Pennsylvania. Originally known as Sorcerer, they changed their name to Shadow Gallery, inspired by Alan Moore's graphic novel V for Vendetta. After signing with Magna Carta Records in 1991, they released their self-titled debut album in 1992. Their fourth album, Legacy, was released in 2001 and mixed by producer Neil Kernon. The band is known for their complex compositions and technical proficiency, drawing inspiration from bands like Rush, Yes, and Pink Floyd.
