Shaggy, born Orville Richard Burrell, is a Jamaican-American reggae musician known for hits like "It Wasn't Me," "Boombastic," and "Angel." He has released albums such as "Boombastic" (1995), "Hot Shot" (2000), and "44/876" (2018) with Sting. He has won two Grammy Awards for Best Reggae Album and received the Brit Award for International Male Solo Artist in 2002. In 2007, he was awarded the Jamaican Order of Distinction at the rank of Commander. In 2022, he received an honorary Doctor of Fine Arts degree from Brown University.
