Shed Seven is a British alternative rock band formed in 1990 in York. The band became part of the 1990s Britpop scene, achieving 15 UK Top 40 singles and five UK Top 40 albums. Their debut album, "Change Giver," was released in 1994 and reached number 16 on the UK Albums Chart. This was followed by "A Maximum High" (1996) and "Let It Ride" (1998). After disbanding in 2003, the band reunited in 2007 and continued to tour. In 2024, they released "A Matter of Time," which became their first number one album on the UK Albums Chart.
