Showaddywaddy is a British rock and roll group formed in 1973 in Leicester by merging two local bands, Choise and Golden Hammers. The group is known for reviving hits from the 1950s and early 1960s, as well as their own original material. Among their most notable songs is "Under the Moon of Love," which reached number one on the UK Singles Chart in 1976.
