Silje Nergaard is a Norwegian jazz singer and songwriter who has released 16 albums since her debut in 1990. Her career began at age 16 with an impromptu performance alongside the Jaco Pastorius Band at the Molde International Jazz Festival. Her debut single, "Tell Me Where You're Going," featuring Pat Metheny, became an international hit, reaching number one on Japan's charts. The 2001 album "At First Light" remains Norway's best-selling jazz album. She has collaborated with artists such as Al Jarreau, John Scofield, and Toots Thielemans.
