Silverbacks is an Irish post-punk band formed in 2018 by brothers Daniel and Kilian O'Kelly. The band expanded to a six-member lineup, including Peader Kearney, Emma Hanlon, Paul Leamy, and Gary Wickham. Their debut album, "Fad," was released in 2020 and was nominated for the Choice Music Prize. The second album, "Archive Material," was released in 2022, followed by their third album, "Easy Being a Winner," in 2024, which was also nominated for the Choice Music Prize. The band is known for their unique sound that blends post-punk, indie rock, and alternative rock.
