Simone Pansolin is an Italian musician and poet specializing in the performance of Baroque music on the lute, baroque guitar, and theorbo. Originally a classical guitarist, he studied at the N. Paganini Conservatory in Genoa and later focused on historical string instruments. He has released albums such as "Sonate d'Intavolatura di Leuto" (2021) featuring works by Giovanni Zamboni and "Sonatas for Baroque Guitar" (2024) showcasing music by Ludovico Roncalli. Pansolin regularly collaborates with lutenists Massimo Lonardi and Davide Mocini and was awarded the "Giorgio Ferraris" prize for music in 2022.
