Skam was a punk band from the Washington D.C. area, active between 1980 and 1983. Founded by Vince Forcier and Jack Anderson during their middle school years, their music was influenced by British punk bands like The Clash and Sex Pistols, as well as American groups such as Dead Boys and The Stooges. During their brief existence, Skam performed alongside bands like Scream, No Trend, and United Mutation. In 2023, they released the album "No Name," featuring recordings from 1982-1983. After the band's dissolution, members pursued other projects; Jack Anderson joined No Trend, while Vince Forcier played in Racer X and Second Wind.
