Skip James was an American blues musician known for his unique guitar and piano playing style, as well as his high falsetto singing. In 1931, he recorded a series of tracks for Paramount Records, including "Devil Got My Woman" and "I'm So Glad". After a long period of inactivity, he was rediscovered during the blues revival of the 1960s and performed at the Newport Folk Festival in 1964. His music influenced many artists, and his songs were later covered by various musicians. The products available from the artist Skip James include CDs.
