Slavko Avsenik und seine Original Oberkrainer was a Slovenian musical group founded in 1953 by brothers Slavko and Vilko Avsenik. The ensemble is renowned for its unique style that blends traditional Slovenian folk music with modern arrangements. Among their most famous compositions is "Na Golici," considered one of the most played instrumental pieces worldwide. Throughout their career, they released over 1,000 songs and received numerous awards, including the European Music Oscar in 1975.
