Slik Toxik was a Canadian hard rock band formed in 1988 in Toronto. Their debut album, "Doin' the Nasty," released in 1992, achieved gold status in Canada and won the Juno Award for Best Rock Album of the Year. The album featured singles such as "Helluvatime" and "White Lies, Black Truth." In 1994, they released their second album, "Irrelevant." The band disbanded in 1995. After the breakup, members pursued various musical projects; vocalist Nick Walsh formed the bands Raised On Mars and Revolver, which later rebranded as Famous Underground.
