Slint was an American rock band from Louisville, Kentucky, formed in 1986 after the dissolution of local bands Squirrel Bait and Maurice. The original lineup consisted of Brian McMahan (guitar, vocals), David Pajo (guitar), Britt Walford (drums, vocals), and Ethan Buckler (bass guitar). Their debut album, "Tweez," was recorded in 1987 and released in 1989. After Buckler's departure, the band released "Spiderland" in 1991, which is considered pioneering in the post-rock genre. Slint disbanded shortly before the release of "Spiderland" and has since reunited several times for brief periods. The products available from the artist Slint include vinyls, CDs.
