The Slovak Folk Art Ensemble (SĽUK) is a professional artistic ensemble founded in 1949. SĽUK focuses on the artistic processing and interpretation of Slovak folk dance, music, and visual arts. The ensemble comprises a dance group, a folk music band, and a female choir. Throughout its history, SĽUK has collaborated with notable Slovak artists, including composers Eugen Suchoň, Alexander Moyzes, Tibor Andrašovan, Svetozár Stračina, and Rinaldo Oláh, as well as choreographers Juraj Kubánka, Martin Ťapák, Ervín Varga, Jaroslav Moravčík, and Ján Ďurovčík. SĽUK has performed in over 60 countries, contributing to the international promotion of Slovak folk culture. The products available from the artist SĽUK include CDs.
