Slum Village is an American hip-hop group from Detroit, Michigan. Originally composed of rappers Baatin, T3, and producer J Dilla, the group saw J Dilla depart in 2001 to pursue a solo career, with Elzhi joining in his place. Baatin left in 2003, returning in 2008. Following the deaths of J Dilla in 2006 and Baatin in 2009, T3 remained the sole original member. The group has released albums such as "Fantastic, Vol. 2" (2000) and "Trinity (Past, Present and Future)" (2002).
