Smog is the musical project of American singer-songwriter Bill Callahan, who began recording in the late 1980s. His work is characterized by lo-fi sound and introspective lyrics. Notable albums include "Knock Knock" (1999), "Red Apple Falls" (1997), and "Dongs of Sevotion" (2000). In 2005, he released "A River Ain't Too Much to Love".
