Sofya Melikyan is an Armenian pianist born in Yerevan. She studied at the Royal Conservatory of Madrid, École Normale de Musique de Paris, and Manhattan School of Music in New York. She has performed as a soloist with various orchestras, including the Armenian Philharmonic Orchestra and the Radio and Television Symphony Orchestra of Spain. Her recordings include albums such as "Brahms: Piano Trios 2 & 3" and "Women". She has collaborated with artists like Kim Kashkashian and is a member of a trio with David Haroutunian and Mikayel Hakhnazaryan.
