empty cell Sonny Burgess
Albert Austin "Sonny" Burgess was an American rockabilly guitarist and singer, known as one of the original recording artists for Sun Records in Memphis, Tennessee. With his band, The Pacers, he released his debut single "Red Headed Woman" in 1956, with the B-side "We Wanna Boogie," both written by Burgess. These songs are considered among the most energetic recordings of early rock and roll. Burgess continued recording for Sun Records, and his music influenced many later rockabilly artists.
