Sonny Gullage is a 25-year-old blues singer, songwriter, and pianist from New Orleans, Louisiana. He began his career as a resident artist at B.B. King's Blues Club in New Orleans and gained attention in 2022 through his participation in American Idol. In August 2024, he released his debut album "Go Be Free" under Blind Pig Records, produced by four-time Grammy winner Tom Hambridge. The album features 12 tracks, including a collaboration with blues guitarist Christone "Kingfish" Ingram. Gullage comes from a musical family; his father, Tony Gullage, is a bassist who has worked with Henry Butler and Dr. John, and his grandmother, Sister Alberta Gullage, released gospel recordings in the 1960s.
