Sons of Apollo was an American progressive metal supergroup formed in 2017. The lineup included Mike Portnoy (drums), Derek Sherinian (keyboards), Billy Sheehan (bass guitar), Jeff Scott Soto (vocals), and Ron "Bumblefoot" Thal (guitar). They released two studio albums: "Psychotic Symphony" in 2017 and "MMXX" in 2020. Their music blended progressive metal with hard rock elements. The band disbanded in 2023.
