Southern Empire is an Australian progressive rock band formed in 2014 in Adelaide. The band has released three studio albums: "Southern Empire" (2016), "Civilisation" (2018), and "Another World" (2023). Their music blends elements of progressive rock, classic rock, and jazz. In 2023, the band welcomed new vocalist Shaun Holton, known for his Projected Twin project and participation in Australia's The Voice. The current lineup includes Shaun Holton (vocals, guitars), Cam Blokland (guitars, vocals), Sean Timms (keyboards, guitars, percussion, vocals), Jez Martin (bass guitar, flugelhorn, vocals), and Brody Green (drums, percussion, vocals).
