SouthGang was an American rock band from Rome, Georgia, active between 1988 and 1993. Originally known as Byte the Bullet, the band changed its name before releasing their debut album, "Tainted Angel," in 1991. Their music blended elements of hard rock and glam metal, with their single "Tainted Angel" gaining some popularity on MTV. In 1992, they released their second album, "Group Therapy." After the band's breakup, guitarist Butch Walker, bassist Jayce Fincher, and drummer Mitch McLee formed the band Marvelous 3, achieving a minor hit with "Freak of the Week" in 1998. Walker later pursued a successful solo career and produced music for various pop and rock artists. The products available from the artist SouthGang include CDs.
