Spain is an American rock band formed in Los Angeles in 1993 by vocalist and bassist Josh Haden. Their 1995 debut album, "The Blue Moods of Spain," features the song "Spiritual," later covered by Johnny Cash and Soulsavers. The band is known for its slow, atmospheric sound that blends elements of jazz, blues, and alternative rock. Other notable albums include "She Haunts My Dreams" (1999) and "I Believe" (2001).
