Special Request is the alias of British DJ and producer Paul Woolford, established in 2012 in Leeds, England. The project draws inspiration from UK pirate radio and genres like breakbeat techno and drum'n'bass. His debut album, "Soul Music," was released in 2013 under the Houndstooth label. This was followed by "Belief System" in 2017 and "Vortex" in 2019. In 2021, he released the "DJ-Kicks" mix.
