Species is a technical thrash metal band from Warsaw, Poland, formed in 2018. Their debut album, "To Find Deliverance," was released in 2022 and received acclaim for its unique blend of technical thrash and unconventional songwriting. In 2025, they released their second album, "Changelings," under the 20 Buck Spin label, featuring tracks like "Inspirit Creation" and "Biological Masterpiece." Species' music is characterized by intricate guitar work, aggressive rhythms, and sci-fi themes. The band consists of Piotr Drobina (bass, vocals), Przemysław Hampelski (drums, percussion), and Michał Kępka (guitar).
